Manchester agency, Triangle PR, has been appointed by Cheshire restaurateur, Olivier Troalen to launch a £50,000 crowdfunding campaign for his new French home cooking recipe book, with supporters given the opportunity to be literally part of the story.

The motivation for producing the book, entitled A Taste of Home, is part of Olivier’s wider aim of reviving the British public’s love of French food by getting back to basics of what real French food is all about.

Each one of 500 crowdfunders will see their name printed in the book as part of the rewards package offered by Olivier. In addition, every supporter will receive a signed copy of the book, an invitation to the official book launch, a £50 voucher for Olivier’s La Boheme French restaurant in Lymm, and a La Boheme branded chef’s apron.

The crowdfunding, which goes live at the beginning of March, will be promoted through a combination of regional and local print and digital news, lifestyle media, specialist food titles, social media, cookery demonstration events and email marketing.

Triangle will also be working with Olivier to promote the 20th anniversary of his restaurant La Boheme, which is located on Mill Lane in Lymm.

Owner and Head Chef of La Boheme, Olivier Troalen, commented: “Triangle handled the PR and marketing for my debut cookbook back in 2012 and we had no hesitation in reappointing them to launch its sequel, as well as helping us promote the 20th anniversary of the restaurant.”
