It has been a fantastic year of results for A-level students at the Worsley based independent school, two of whom are celebrating a future in medicine having achieved a raft of A grades in the all-important subjects of Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Outstanding individual performances from Raees Zaeem and Phoebe Moss ensure their progression to study medicine at The University of Manchester, the UK’s largest Medical School. A truly outstanding achievement!

Said Year 13 student and Head Girl, Phoebe Moss: “At Bridgewater they do everything they can to ensure we achieve our full potential, both academically and personally, and I’m grateful for the support of my tutors throughout this A-level year. I am absolutely thrilled with my results and cannot wait to start life at medical school in September.”

Success was also enjoyed across a wide range of traditional and contemporary subjects including History, Physics, English Literature, Art, Design & Technology, Economics, Religious Studies, Psychology, Arabic and French, reflecting the individual approach adopted by the school and the wide array of A-level subjects available.

Judy Nairn, Headmistress commented: “We are delighted with the results and this success is testament to the dedication and hard work of our pupils who, with the commitment and continued support of their parents and our exceptional teaching staff, have made some wonderful achievements. Congratulations must go to Raees and Phoebe, who scored an outstanding seven As between them and will now go on to a career in medicine, but we are equally as proud of each and every student, all of whom have fulfilled their potential. We very much look forward to following them on their chosen paths and wish them all best wishes for the future as they continue their own unique journey.”
