OrthTeam is a group of highly-skilled consultants who work together to provide an integrated, multi-disciplinary team approach which ensures outstanding, personalised care for a wide range of patients; from professional and amateur athletes with sporting injuries, arthritis sufferers to complex spinal conditions.

OrthTeam Director, and Consultant Hand and Wrist Surgeon, Mike Hayton said: “I’m delighted to be part of the launch of the OrthTeam Centre and have so many of our healthcare and sports colleagues, and patients here to join us.

“Since formation in 2007, the OrthTeam has grown and developed to establish itself as one of the leading providers of MSK treatment and surgery in the UK, and it was a natural progression for us to have a bespoke facility. A quick and accurate diagnosis will always benefit patients, and at the OrthTeam we’re confident that having this state-of-the-art diagnostic capability and expertise under-one-roof will provide the highest quality care.

Spire Manchester Hospital Director, Andy Eadsforth added: “We are very proud to be part of this launch and to be working with the OrthTeam. We already have a great relationship with many of their consultants and now that the centre is open, it is a major boost for both the hospital and patients.”
