Founded as an Independent School of Medicine, St George’s has now evolved into one of the top International Education Institutions.

All on offer, while receiving a first-class education in their chosen field of study.

Abbey College Manchester students recently benefitted from an insightful talk delivered by Pier Larosa from St George’s University, who gave an overview of the programme, its entry requirements, and highly-impressive facilities that they have in both Grenada and their UK base in Newcastle.

For students studying A-levels, the entry criteria is AAB in Biology and Chemistry with Maths or Physics however, it is also possible for those not studying A-levels to be accepted onto this much-coveted programme via the college’s International Foundation Medicine Pathway. Students are welcome to apply during any point of the academic year and those wishing to enrol on the unique course will participate in a rigorous selection process including an interview, the submission of a personal statement, two letters of recommendations and to have undertaken appropriate work experience.

Successful students are also eligible to apply for the sought-after St George’s University International Peace Scholarship which, if awarded, is spread through the duration of the course.
