The Botanist in Didsbury announces opening date and jobs
Didsbury, Manchester UK, the award-winning ‘The New World Trading Company’ (NWTC) has revealed The Botanist in Didsbury Village will officially open on Monday 3rd April 2017.
The unique pub and restaurant, which resides in the former JD Wetherspoon pub, The Milson Rhodes, located on School Lane, has also announced the creation of 50 new jobs in the area, making the site the 12th addition to The Botanist portfolio and covering a total of 4,500sq ft of eating and drinking space.
General manager Danny Leach who joins the team from The Oast House in Manchester City Centre said: “We are very proud to announce the official opening date to the residents and visitors of Didsbury Village, and invite people in to see the stunning transformation of the space. We will be open for coffees through to cocktails with live music and our much-loved food menu from 3rd April, so come in and say hello”.
The Botanist is a unique concept inspired by all things botanical, the space will play host to live music with daily energetic evening gigs along with lazy Sunday afternoon sessions with a real home-from-home atmosphere.
As well as a selection of world famous beers and ales, the extensive botanical menu sees a whole host of fresh fruit, herbs and spirits, merged and muddled to create a number of unique delights. With over 45 botanical creations there’s plenty to choose from; a number of long and short cocktails are available alongside martinis, flutes and a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails.
Guests can also expect classic cocktails, with a botanical twist such as a Cinnamon and Oregano Old Fashioned or an Apricot and Mint Daiquiri. Alongside the extensive drinks offering, discerning diners will feast on food inspired by the deli, rotisserie and BBQ.
