Great food deserves the grandest of settings. The award winning Alston Bar & Beef restaurant will be opening its second site in Manchester’s Corn Exchange later this year.

Home to an eclectic mix of some of the very best restaurants in Manchester city centre, diners will be further spoilt for choice in the historic Corn Exchange with Alston Bar & Beef serving some of the best steak the city has to offer.

The bar and restaurant will serve the top 1% of Scotch beef, sourced from the Tweed Valley, as well as offering the finest selection of gins to accompany the greatest steak in town.

General Manager Riki Bennet said: “We are really looking forward to bringing Alston Bar & Beef to Manchester. Our bar and restaurant in Glasgow has been a real success and now we have the opportunity to grow our business south of the border which is particularly exciting. The Corn Exchange is the home to some fantastic operations and we will only enhance that further by building a quality steak and gin offering in a really unique environment that everyone can enjoy.”

Andre Coles, from Corn Exchange owners Aviva Investors added: “Having transformed the much loved Corn Exchange into Manchester’s global food quarter we are delighted to announce the forthcoming opening of Alston Bar & Beef. This will offer Manchester the best of Scotland’s food and drink alongside restaurants from around the world; we cannae wait!”
