Didsbury’s Favourite Bistro, Hispi, to Host Wine Dinner
Award-winning neighbourhood bistro, Hispi, will be hosting a wine dinner on Wednesday 19th September in conjunction with wine producers, Kaiken and Montes.
Joined by Montes’ Chief Winemaker, Gustavo Hormann, guests can look forward to a 5 course menu paired by Gustavo’s specially selected wines to complement each dish.
The menu features a baked cod starter with little gem, granny smith apple and salsa macha, followed by a rump cap of beef with barlotti beans, carrots and parsley. To finish, guests can enjoy a pre-dessert of baked cheese, pear and mint granita before a raspberry tart with dark chocolate and olive oil.
General Manager, Jayne Stead, comments: “Our Kaiken and Montes dinner menu showcases some exceptional wines, which have formed the basis of each dish. We look forward to welcoming guests to what is sure to be an unforgettable dining experience.”
