Outstanding new casual dining restaurant, TOAST, the talk of Altrincham Town since it opened in October, is celebrating the life of the greatest Scot of all time with a new signature dish.
There’s no better way to celebrate Robert Burns, the pioneer of the ‘Romantic Movement’ than to treat yourself to a full Burns supper on toast.
Dust off those trusted tartans and get the party started this Burns Night on January 25th and enjoy delicious ‘Haggis, Neeps and Tatties’ on toast.
A slice of juicy haggis is accompanied by pan fried tasty baby turnips and mustard seed swede and topped with a perfectly fried egg. As with everything in TOAST the ingredients are served on your choice of toast. Choose from five different varieties (and a gluten free option) of bread freshly baked by Levenshulme-based family bakery, Trove.

Since opening in October 2017 TOAST has been serving all day breakfast dishes and light bites, lunch mains and desserts; from their stunning new eaterie on the ground floor of the beautifully renovated old bank building, on Stamford New Road, at the edge of Goose Green, in Altrincham.
Co-Owner Justin Orange said; “We’ve enjoyed every day since opening and have already grown a great loyal group of regulars. We’re proof there is a limitless amount of fun you can have with a slice of toast.

The 56-cover restaurant has two distinct areas. The Garden Room entrance acts as a feature, with numerous glass partitions, to let the light in, and lovely flora, vibrant, characterful lighting, and fabrics to enhance the atmosphere. The Garden Room, and the main area of Toast, with its exposed original architectural details, copper accents, and distinct seating sections, including: booths, for those wanting a little privacy, leather arm chairs, window seats, for voyeurs, and a wonderfully designed feature dining table, for larger groups.
‘Haggis, Neeps and Tatties’ is available as a main dish on the current lunch menu priced £8.50.
