Blackstone continues to expand & nurture young talent
Blackstone Solicitors have announced further expansion as two new employees join the team in the Hale office and one internal promotion is made. Set up in 2010 by Emma Nawaz with a focus on Commercial Litigation, the firm was quickly recognised achieving a string of award accolades and establishing a portfolio of clients locally, nationally, and internationally. Earlier this year Blackstone opened a Mayfair office to compliment the Hale practice.
Hannah Kirk joins as a Litigation Solicitor, Ashona Chakraborty as a Residential Paralegal and Anjali Patel has been given a sought after training contract, taking the team to 28 staff. The range of services now provided by Blackstone includes, Commercial and Property Litigation, Residential Property, Commercial Property, Wills and Probate and Corporate services, as well as a specialist Iran Desk.
Hannah Kirk qualified in September 2016 as a Litigation Solicitor. Commenting on her appointment Hannah said: “I am excited by my career move to Blackstone Solicitors. I particularly enjoy dealing directly with clients, gaining their trust and proceeding to achieve great results for them. Undoubtedly this fits well into the Blackstone ethos.”
Blackstone’s new Residential Paraglegal is Ashona Chakraborty . Ashona has an outstanding academic record and comments: “I am extremely happy to be starting my professional career at Blackstone and I hope to be here for the long-haul. I particularly enjoy acting on behalf of purchasers and corresponding with them throughout the course of their transaction – especially on completion when they’re finally new home owners.”
Anjali Patel joined the team as a Paralegal in September 2016 and has now been given a very sought after Training Contract. Anjali is a First Class Honours LLB Law and Legal Practice Course graduate. She was recognised as the highest performing student by her University when she graduated in 2015. Anjali said: “I am determined and ambitious to progress my career at Blackstone Solicitors and am excited about the journey ahead!”
